So many shocking revelations with this one that I don't know where to begin.
Vanessa knew that "Ashley" was Nina because of her Instagram post while they were hiking. Benny saw it and told her.
Lachlan was really Michael O'Brien who was born and raised in Portland. The accent was a fake.
Nina's mother was grifting her. She was actually in remission and was lying to Nina because she didn't want her to move back to the East coast. She brought Lachlan in on the grift, basically feeding Nina to the wolves and a life of crime.
Vanessa killed Michael/Lachlan and threw his body over the side of the yacht in the middle of Lake Tahoe. After a short term jail stay, Nina moved to Stonehaven with Vanessa, Benny, and the baby (oh yeah, Vanessa had Michael/Lachlan's baby) to catalog the antiques for Vanessa. She planned on donating Stonehaven to a charity.
