Nora sent "Saint" to Petra in the hopes that his appearance would help her overcome her writer's block. Nora knew him, and when he showed up in their Facebook group, their conversation about it prompted him to take a trip to the lake house. However, their extra-curricular activities were all his idea.
The book ends with "Saint" emailing Petra a reservation at the cabin saying that they need to get started on her next book.
