What a hell of a book!! Jackson Parrish was a sociopath who mentally terrorized Daphne in so many ways. When Daphne had discovered that Amber wasn't who she said she was and put a plan in place to push Amber and Jackson together, essentially guaranteeing her freedom. Daphne was able to get an incredible divorce settlement and escaped to the other side of the country with her two girls and the mother that had been kept from her. But, she also set into place a plan that would get Jackson arrested for money laundering, tax evasion, and would guarantee that he would lose everything!
