Jodie was pregnant with her cousin, Aiden's, baby. Only he wasn't her cousin. He was really her half-brother.
It was Aiden's mother, Felicity, who killed Jodie. She knew they were siblings and that Jodie couldn't have that baby. She also knew that Jodie wasn't going to abort the baby.
Evie also revealed late in the book that Terry Boland died trying to protect her. He wouldn't reveal her hiding place, so he was tortured to death. I sure hope we will get another book about Evie, I want to know more about her story.
