At first, Finch told his parents that it was his old girlfriend who took the pictures with his phone.  And that she was the one who sent it out to everybody.  The truth is that Finch did it and blamed Polly.  Polly was suicidal over the whole thing and it was Lyla and Nina who saved her.

Nina divorced her husband and started a career as an interior designer working with Tom, but not becoming romantically involved with him.
