Dawn was having an affair with Errol, not Aidan. Aidan's mother found out that Dawn was pregnant and pushed her down the stairs.
Maggie had shown up at the camp with Errol because she was now having an affair with Errol. They concocted the scheme where she marries Aidan with a very generous prenup to buy her silence. With the plan for the marriage to end in a year, Maggie would be a very wealthy woman.
Aidan killed himself. But before he did, he left a map for Frank, a map to Dawn'a body.
Oh, and Maggie was a sociopath. Frank ended up being the catalyst for putting her in jail.
