All of these characters were horrible. Eve was the character that just wouldn't die. Instead she and her boyfriend, Jay, the shoe salesman, buried him alive.
It turns out that Nate had been a predator his entire career. In fact, he met Eve when he was her teacher. Kenzie hated Addie because she had been having an affair with Nate when he dropped her for Addie.
But the real twist comes when you learn that the shoe guy, Jay, is Hudson. The classmate and best friend of Addie. Eve was a predator, too.
