Wylie was really Josie. She changed her name when she moved from the community.
The "mother" in the story was Becky. Randy Cutter had kidnapped her. After killing Josie's
parents and brother.
Becky's daughter, named Josie, ended up shooting Randy in the back of the head, saving Wylie.
Why did Randy Cutter do it? I presume he was the father of Ethan's friend Cutter.
