The main character, Odette, was killed about halfway through the book and Angel took over narration duties five years later.
It was Odette's uncle, Maggie's father, the preacher who killed Frank Branson and Trumanell. He killed Frank and because he found out that it was Frank who was Maggie's father, not him. Trumanell was collateral damage. Odette's father helped hide the bodies. And then he killed Odette for figuring it out.
thank you for letting me know the ending. I wish you had written something about Wyatt. I was enjoying the book but could not handle the language. Don't really care for the "F" word. But I really wanted to know how it turned out! thanks!!
