It was Cody who killed his friends.
Jess was on her way home from an abortion when she saw Cody running from the scene, but she was drugged out from the abortion that she didn't remember it. She also was hiding the fact that she was relieved when Charlie died.
I don’t think this is what happened. I think Terry killed them but Cody was there when it happened and he ran and then let Sidney take the wrap because Cody is a terrible human.
