At first the doctor thought it was his son who was the rapist and he was trying to manipulate Jenny's memories towards a different direction. But then he realized it was one of his patients from a local prison. The ex-con was stalking his son.When his son was unavailable, the ex-con raped Jenny. In the exact same tragic fashion that he, the doctor, was raped when he was a kid.
