Both Barb and Cole thought they were the ones who killed Lorelei when she fell and hit her head on the toilet. In reality, Hawk was the one who killed her. He strangled Lorelei after he told Barb and Cole that he would "handle" it.
Cole and Anika plotted together to frame Jordan for infidelity. They both wanted out of their marriages, but with their prenups, this was the only way they would get any money. Cole vowed to split her ten-million-dollar payout with Anika.
Cole, Barb, and Cameron (the detective) ended up at the cabin of Lorelei's stepbrother, Marty, only to discover Alice Chu, the police analyst, with her new boyfriend, Owen. Owen had killed Marty and kidnapped the reality stars.
Cameron had found them locked up and saved Kylie Kahl and Sydney Larsen. It was Kylie who grabbed the fire poker and beat Owen to death.
