Virgil and Walton Huntsinger killed the girls. Walton used Adam's ID to fly around the country, and they framed him. They borrowed the teacher's car to deal with Madison and Cheyenne.

Jude was Emmy's real mother. Adam had raped her in the back of the bar. When her parents took Emmy to raise, they made Jude promise not to return to North Falls until they were dead. Jude agreed to give up Emmy up as long as Gerald stopped drinking.
