Officials discovered Greenloop and Katie's journal after seeing all of the smoke from the homes destroyed during the last attack. Katie and Palamino, the only survivors, were nowhere to be found. Graves had been dug and one of the Sasquatch had been skinned. Kate's brother assumes that she took Pal into the forest to hunt down and kill the rest of the Sasquatch tribe.
