Grayson was infertile. He and the doctor concocted a plan to use Marsden's sperm to impregnate Bex. She found out about it when an ancestry-type website sponsored her, and she tested the kids. She was trying to get both men on record admitting to knowing about it to gain her freedom from her abusive husband.
Marsden killed Grayson, but he did most of the damage. It was Veronica who finished him off after the camera was destroyed. It was Olivia who killed Marsden as he tried to hang Bex.
Bex married the dad influencer. Lizzie wrote a book about it all. And Veronica got control over the hotel.
